Mortgage Loan Processor

 

Position Summary

Location – Circleville, Ohio

Job Area – Mortgage Lending

Employment Type – Full-time

FLSA Classification – Non-Exempt

Primary Schedule – Monday - Friday

Supervisory Responsibility – None

Travel – None

 

The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for accurately managing residential real estate loan documentation through our established systems, and reviewing it to ensure it is completed in full and complies with current banking regulations and policies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Examine and verify initial loan documents/information for accuracy
  • Assist in gathering all required documentation for a loan package
  • Create loan submission packages for underwriting
  • Satisfy conditions when received from Underwriter
  • Communicate with other loan professional, including attorneys, title companies, Realtors…
  • Ensure that loan approvals fall within established lending guidelines
  • Coordinate Loan closings with title offices, customer & Loan Officers

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Basic knowledge of underwriting terminology
  • 2+ years’ experience processing conventional, FHA, VA and FNMA loans preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to multitask and work well under time constraints and deadlines
  • Well organized, optimistic and highly motivated
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with Calyx Point and Laser Pro preferred
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Accounting Processor

 

Location – Circleville, Ohio

Job Area – Operations/Accounting

Employment Type – Full-time

FLSA Classification – Non-Exempt

Primary Schedule – Within branch hours

Supervisory Responsibility – None

Travel – None

 

The Accounting Processor role performs critical reviews ensure account accuracy. This role is also an ambassador for the bank by responding to customer questions and concerns about their deposit account or related products.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process Mobile Deposit transactions daily
  • Review and balance the vault totals for all locations.
  • Investigate transaction errors and make corrections
  • Ensure proper processing and output delivery of reports.
  • Process ATM or Debit card requests for instant issue of cards to customers.
  • Review and balance ATMs to ensure proper processing of transactions.
  • Investigate ATM related electronic fund transfer customer disputes or fraudulent issues in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Administer transaction restrictions on card purchases (i.e. change limits)
  • Answer incoming calls from customers with questions (i.e. balance of account or on-line banking)
  • Work with other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Input of new accounts into accounting systems.
  • Review exception reports and make adjustments to accounts accordingly.
  • Maintenance accounts when necessary changes or closures are warranted.
  • Record, file, and update information as required in the system as well as account file.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
  • Adhere to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Bank Customer Service Representatives have a vital role providing exceptional customer service to our customers to effectively and efficiently meet their financial services needs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and establish professional relationships with them.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while balancing daily.
  • Be knowledgeable of all deposit, business and consumer loan products to effectively explain and promote the Bank’s products and services to customers and connect them with the appropriate bank partners.
  • Assist customers in accessing safety deposit boxes.
  • Demonstrate acumen for banking, transaction process, cash handling, bank processes, technology and communication while maintaining up to date knowledge on all products, services, technology and policies.
