New TSB Team Member Kelly Myers
This week we would like to welcome a new member to Team TSB at our Williamsport branch, Kelly Myers! Kelly was able to sit down with us to discuss several topics, and we are so excited to get to know Kelly along with all of you.
Q: First, will you introduce yourself and your role with The Savings Bank?
A: My name is Kelly Myers, and I am the new Customer Service Manager with our Williamsport team. I have over 25 years in banking and truly enjoy working in the branches, getting to know not only our teams, but the customers that visit us as well. We have lived in Pickaway County for over 18 years and just outside of Williamsport. I am a mother of two and have been married for 30+ years. We race Standardbred racehorses (like at Scioto Downs) and in my off time, I enjoy most outdoor activities.
Q: What are you looking forward to most in your role?
A: I am hoping my role will provide opportunities in Williamsport that they do not have currently. I am looking forward to getting to know our customers and establishing relationships to allow me to assist them in achieving their financial goals.
Q: Is there anything you wish more people knew about your job or the services you offer?
A: The Savings Bank has many products and services that we offer our customers. I want to assist our customers in meeting their financial objectives and help them do it with as much ease as possible. We will accomplish this through communication, understanding and trust. I really do want to help offer Smart Banking for a better future for our customers.
Q: What do you like most about your job? What makes the biggest impression about the Williamsport community?
A: I am sure I sound like a broken record, but what I like most about what I do is building relationships: to be able to sit down with someone, have a conversation and truly hear them, understand their needs, and then formulate a plan of how we are going to reach them. It’s the best feeling to help someone let go of some of their stress or achieve their goal.
I have always worked for Credit Unions and wanted to keep the “small town banking, get to know your customers” atmosphere. So far, everyone I have met through the Williamsport Branch has been wonderful! I have felt very welcome and proud to be part of the community!
