Our New Year’s Resolution
It’s a new year, and The Savings Bank would like to share our resolutions with you. At The Savings Bank, we’re dedicated to being your community bank, but what does that mean to us in 2024?
Technology and Product
The Savings Bank is dedicated to offering our customers diverse products and up-to-date technology. In 2024, we are looking to continue this legacy by offering our customers a variety of accounts so that customers can find an account solution that’s the perfect fit for them. There are many new services and technologies we plan to unveil in 2024, as well. These will make banking easier for customers while still offering the same security The Savings Bank values. We can’t wait to share these new services with you!
Industry Education
Education is a priority here at The Savings Bank. We believe in empowering our communities through education, and we are committed to providing industry education for those at all stages of their financial journey.
To accomplish this, we will dedicate several blog and social media posts a month to things like the latest scams, financial literacy, and community updates. The SmartBanking Talk blog will often feature deep dives into timely scams our consumers need to be aware of.
Financial literacy encompasses many topics; however, we will aim to feature blogs and social media posts that will help consumers at any stage of their financial literacy journey. We will talk about things like saving money, loan terminology, and even credit scores.
But online resources aren’t the only way to stay educated. Our employees are dedicated to representing The Savings Bank at educational community events throughout the communities we serve! Follow our social media to stay informed about upcoming events.

Community Outreach
Lastly, as your community bank, we are dedicated to supporting the communities we serve! Community reinvestment, volunteering, and charitable contributions will continue to be a focus for The Savings Bank in 2024. Throughout the year you will see many of our employees out and about in the community doing charitable work. Many of these employees also serve on boards and committees that work tirelessly to improve our communities!
The Savings Bank will also continue to help fund community initiatives for students, nonprofits, and many other charitable organizations in our communities.
2024 will also see the return of The Savings Bank events like Shred-It Day and our fall Food Drive. Make sure you keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates about these events.
